The global success story of Käfer began in 1930, when Paul and Elsa Käfer opened their grocery store in Munich's Amalienstrasse. Since that time, Käfer has consistently pursued the philosophy of seeking out top-quality, innovative products and recipe ideas from all over the world and introducing them to connoisseurs and gourmets.
Today Käfer is an international company employing almost 700 staff, with subsidiaries in Berlin, Frankfurt and the Kingdom of Bahrain.
