Käfer Delicatessen Markets are local gourmet stores for all lovers of fine food. Our range spans around 2,000 products which are hard to find in conventional food stores. We source these products from our own production operations, from regional suppliers and from selected international manufacturers. The self-service markets display these goods in a simple loft-style decor, enabling us to keep prices low.
We know all our suppliers personally; some are long-standing partners. All of them are united by their passion for quality foods, produced using sustainable methods in which traditional craftsmanship is the rule - not the exception. To communicate the special features of our products to our customers, we use image and text displays presenting our partners and their production methods in our Delicatessen Markets.
Freshness is our credo. On Wednesdays and Fridays Käfer Delicatessen Markets offer fresh-caught fish delivered directly from the largest market halls in the world, at Rungis near Paris. Staff at the Käfer subsidiary Fashion Food France personally select the finest goods and send them to Munich using the fastest method possible. Bread comes directly from the Käfer bakery, and walk-in chillers for home-made specialities and cheese add the final touch of freshness.
