Theatinergang (Theatine Corridor)Theatinergang (Theatine Corridor)

Where Bavaria's presidents call for a toast

86 metres long, the Theatine Corridor faces Residenzstrasse and leads to the state apartments. Its beautiful ceiling is particularly noteworthy. The walls were once decorated with 30 frescoes by Michael Echter depicting scenes from the Nibelungen saga; destroyed in World War II, however, they only exist as copies today.

Bright and flooded with light, the Theatine Corridor is esteemed as a venue for public occasions and for banquets, receptions, corporate presentations or exhibitions.
